Not a good day for Dappy, He has been found guilty of affray in connection with a scuffle at a petrol station in Guildford. He was also convicted by a jury at Guildford Crown Court of a charge of assault by beating, which involved him spitting at a man.
Dappy had been out on February 27 last year celebrating the release of his single “Rockstar” and after spending the night in the VIP area of the Casino nightclub in Guildford, Dappy and his friends were travelling back in three cars to a recording studio. They supposedly stopped at a Shell garage in Woodbridge Road at about 3.30am, where Dappy approached two girls sitting on the kerb outside the station shop and Dappy tried to persuade them to get into the car with him. The court was told that when they refused these advances and began to ridicule him, Dappy allegedly became angry and insulted them. He was then accused of spitting at them, but missing.
His recent album “Bad Intentions” shows exactly what he had that day. Hopefully he’s learnt his lesson and we don’t see a repeat of this again.
